The Golden Orb Sparkling Shiraz takes its name from the golden orb spider, a fascinating creature that makes its home in our Coonawarra vineyard. Much like this spider who weaves a complex web, the wine itself is a blend of complexity, incorporating grapes from multiple years rather than a single vintage. This bold strategy allows us to combine the vivacity of young grapes with the depth and spicy complexity of older ones, particularly the coveted 2016 crop. This process layers in intricacies that make each sip a discovery, offering a sparkling shiraz that truly captures the essence of the Coonawarra region.
