Story Behind the Wine:
The Angel's Wings blend is a harmonious marriage between two iconic varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. This is Koonara Wines' first-ever blend, inspired by the quote from Italian writer Luciano de Crescenzo: "We are each of us angels with only one wing. And we can only fly by embracing each other." The wine is crafted from an 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Shiraz ratio, offering a medium to full-bodied experience. The high flavour concentration is due to our focus on growing smaller grapes packed with rich subtlety.
