From 1995 vines on a slope that was formerly an apricot orchard, featuring soils of silty, sandy loam over flint and quartz. The 2022 blend saw French oak for the top section, tight grained and 30% new and American for the bottom section, of which 10% was new.
2022 Apricot Block is marked by powerful tannins and will reward 10-20 years cellaring.
