Theakston Old Peculier is an iconic, world-renowned, beautifully tasting, ruby coloured English beer. Brewed in the traditional manner, with the finest malted Barley, Challenger, Target and the majestic Fuggle hops and fermented with the famous Theakston ‘Twin-strain’ yeast, Old Peculier is noted for its rich fruity flavour with hints if black cherry and banana notes. The beer has won countless awards over the years and has a huge and enthusiastic following. For many years, it was affectionately referred to as ‘Yorkshire’s Lunatics’ Broth’!
